DJ Cheeba flew into town last week to play a show on Saturday. If you're unfamiliar with Cheeba, he's from the UK and is part of the world famous Solid Steel crew. His mixes are known around the world for their creativity, content and the way they're cut together.

Cheeba's live performances are something that need to be seen. Using Serato Video-SL, Cheeba takes content from movies, tv, music videos... even archive footage, and slices it all together in front of your eyes for some kind of eye/ear/brain party.

 

 
 
 

 

 

Serato went along to the show and managed to nab some time with him at the office to show him some awesome stuff we're working on. I managed to have a chat with Cheeba about what he does and the challenges of video mixing. Have a listen here:
